Luke 18:8: “Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
The events over the last two months have been historic in this country (The U.S.) culminating in the “storming of the U.S. Capital building on January 6th, which I believe will go down in the history books (if it is allowed to be written and if anyone in the future has the clarity and honesty to write it) as the visible turning point in this country away from what it was founded to be into something entirely different that many of us have dreaded!
And throughout the last two months there has been a sort of “panic” grow to a fever pitch among conservatives and conservative Christians as they see the political power of traditional conservatism fade away, almost wholesale. Now it is believed that the radicalized Democrat party will have no restraints to their very disturbing political agenda. A whole host of rights that we have now will most likely slowly fade away. And we have already witnessed many of our rights preempted by the COVID debacle, which add’s to people’s sense of panic.
But here is what I want people to remember: we have been trending in this direction for quite a while, not just in the political and ideological sense, but also in the technological foundations that support our society. The internet and the convergence of the exchange of virtually all information in not only our society but the world has been one of the primary drivers of globalism, and Globalist Socialism. Global access to the internet has driven the fundamental idea that everyone around the world are “one people”
I do not believe in “conspiracy theories” that may sound odd, with all that I post, I post what I do as “Sign Posts” for people to read and understand were we are headed as a society and a world! And that direction is irreversible! Does that mean I believe it is right and I will fully go along with it? No but I watch the “sign posts” just as you do as it informs me of what I should be doing and how I should be living.
Now for my Christian friends who understand and believe in Biblical prophecy, what we are seeing happening was already foretold in ages past. Many Christians hold onto the idea that Biblical Prophecy will come about via small powerful groups who know that they are subverting the people and carrying out conspiracies, and the signs will be very obvious! I hate to disappoint you, but that is not how it happens.
For all intents and purposes the people who are globalists for the most part believe they are doing what is “needful” or “good” they honestly believe this because this is the ideology that they have been brought up and educated in. This ideology is as normal to them as our faith is to us! And THEIR ideology has been infiltrating our lives for decades, without many of us even realizing it.
The 20th Century Theologian Francis Schaeffer said the following:
“Wherever you look today, the new concept holds the field. The consensus about us is almost monolithic, whether you review the arts, literature or simply read the newspapers and magazines such as Time, Life, Newsweek, The Listener or The Observer. On every side you can feel the stranglehold of this new methodology-and by “methodology” we mean the way we approach truth and knowing. It is like suffocating in a particularly bad London fog. And just as fog cannot be kept out by walls or doors, so this consensus comes in around us, until the room we live in is no longer unpolluted, and yet we hardly realize what has happened. . . .
”The tragedy of our situation today is that men and women are being fundamentally affected by the new way of looking at truth, and yet they have never even analyzed the drift which has taken place. Young people from Christian homes are brought up in the old framework of truth. Then they are subjected to the modern framework. In time they become confused because they do not understand the alternatives with which they are being presented.
Confusion becomes bewilderment, and before long they are overwhelmed. This is unhappily true not only of young people, but of many pastors, Christian educators, evangelists and missionaries as well. “
And Francis Schaeffer said this before the internet was even conceived!
And C.S. Lewis describes liberal thinking very clearly:
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be “cured” against one’s will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”― C.S. Lewis, God in the Dock: Essays on Theology (Making of Modern Theology)
C.S. Lewis can say this because he knew Biblical Prophecy!
Because it says the following: John 16:2: “They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.”
Does this mean their ideology is not wrong or worse yet not evil? No it does not. It just points out how the change in someones thinking can be so subtle that it can escape notice until it is almost too late by even the best of us!
So what point am I trying to get across with all of the above?
What I am saying is we are all living in a timeline and process that was already known to happen, even in ages past!
So what that means for Christians is we should not be in panic mode! As Christians in the U.S. we have grown to EXPECT that we would not face any kind of personal persecution for our beliefs. But if we know God’s word, we know that persecution was to always be expected, and far beyond what any of us have experienced so far.
And for all Christians now, it is a decision point, will I hold onto my beliefs and live according to how it informs me to live or will I run in panic away from that now because of the fear of REAL persecution!
As I said this time was already spoken of in God’s Word. and God’s word calls times like these: “The Winnowing” or a time that trims down the number of those who are really Christians from those who are not! And the ones who are not, WILL criticize you, insult you, and try to get you to either relent, or take the side of a group who wants to violently confront what is happening!
It is not a time for panic, it is a time for FAITH! So will YOU say in these times, no matter what comes:
Joshua 24:15: “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
