I am seeing far too many Christians becoming for all practical purposes addicted to Facebook for their Christian lives. and what’s worse a new type of “Christian” is emerging on Facebook, ones that rank their own opinions devoid of Biblical justification, above what the Bible clearly says!
The latest rage seems to be personal “words from God” and those having priority over God’s written word, even when they clearly conflict with God’s written word, and in addition those “words from God” not being validated by other Christian’s!
There are scores of pseudo-teachers and “prophets” popping up on Facebook, and these people appeal to other’s “itching ears” for personal biases that they may have which are not validated by God’s written word!
One of these areas is in regards to Jews and Judaism, there is a growing element on Facebook from people claiming to be Christian labeling ALL Jews as “The Synagogue of Satan” and blaming them for all of the world’s ill’s. Some have went so far as dredging up the now discredited “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” believe it or not, to justify their views!
Anyone who has a correct understanding of God’s Word knows that the “The Synagogue of Satan” was never used in the Bible to describe all Jews! It was only ever used in God’s word within a context to describe a specific group of Jews at a specific time. It is not a description of all Jews at all times!
I have seen some many well meaning Christians who lack knowledge of God’s Word, on Facebook falling for the horrible ramblings of these pseudo-teachers.
Facebook and social media in general appeals to “self” it in no way helps a person in their Christian walk, it unfortunately makes them selfish, arrogant, and stubborn, refusing even gentle correction.
Facebook draws Christians away from relying on God’s word and in addition draws them away from learning how to “rightly divide” God’s word!
And now I refer back to the title of this post and the picture below. On the surface many un-knowledgeable and “blind” Christians may think it is “cute” but it betrays some very troubling inferences:
- That Jesus would wear a mask to prevent spreading the COVID virus
- That Jesus would wear a COVID mask to show compliance with the State
- That Jesus by wearing the mask was not divine, was not “God come in the Flesh” and therefore had to worry about possibly getting the virus!
- If Jesus had to wear a mask to protect himself or others from getting the COVID virus he was not divine and was really just a good human teacher!
For Christians” BEWARE of Facebook and Social Media, they are tools to condition people for “group think”, global Socialism, the Anti-Christ empire, and a False Messiah!
Unfortunately most Christians are lukewarm ,unless they seek they shall not find, ever learning never coming to the truth because they rest in their week belief it’s called trusting the flesh and not being led by the spirit you can’t wake up the flesh they have to desire it and God gives them the desire of their heart and that will be for them lust instead of the desire of God.
You are speaking the truth. I hate that it will only get much worse. My Pastor said that he used to believe that television and hollywood would be a factor in separating the sheep from the goats. Now he sees that not only the television but the internet is an all out tool used of satan to lure people into ungodliness and total destruction of the minds of young and old alike and it’s not just sitting in our living room, it’s in our purses and pockets.
