At Thursday’s “LGBTQ Equality” town hall on CNN, presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke called for religious institutions that oppose same-sex marriage to lose tax-exempt status.
“There can be no reward, no benefit, no tax break for anyone … that denies the full human rights and the full civil rights of every single one of us,” he said.
CNN, DON LEMON: Congressman, I want to ask you a question. This is from your LGBTQ plan, and here’s what you write. This is a quote. Freedom of religion is a fundamental right but it should not be used to discriminate. Do you think religious institutions, like colleges, churches, charities, should they lose their tax-exempt status if they oppose same-sex marriage?
BETO O’ROURKE: Yes.

There can be no reward, no benefit, no tax break for anyone or any institution, any organization in America that denies the full human rights and the full civil rights of every single one of us. And so as president, we’re going to make that a priority and we are going to stop those who are infringing upon the human rights of our fellow Americans.
True Discernment 
This is just another sign of the End Times. Our nation has truly been Blessed by God, and we are turning our backs on Him. It is truly unfortunate that today’s society has not only gone from a Christian foundation to an anti-Christian nation, but it has also become a nation divided. Many Americans are unaware of the FACT that our Great Nation was founded on Christian principles. Our Ivy League schools like Harvard and Yale were established on the Christian Faith. Nonetheless, we as citizens of this Great Nation will have to account for turning our backs on God. It is unfortunate that those of us who sincerely try to live our lives in accordance with God’s will must also endure hardships that are certain to come as a result of this nation’s sins.
Beto O’Rourke, will one day bow his knee to Christ. He will be held accountable for his actions and words just as we all will on that great day of Judgment. Satan is working hard to corrupt our society and cause as many souls as possible to be condemned. Satan is very crafty and deceiving, for he portrays himself in a manner that seems appealing. Now he is corrupting our politicians, and Americans as a whole will pay the ultimate price. The Bible warns us about false teachers and wolves in sheep’s clothing in the End Times. Are we too blind to discern and see what is happening to our society? God has given us the gift of discernment, and we must utilize this gift wisely to see the wickedness that surrounds us. Homosexual pastors in the pulpit, Women Preachers, Prayer Limitations in schools and public places, and now wanting to strip our Ministries of their Tax Exemption Status because of our stance against same sex marriages. Need I say more? God will certainly punish us all for our wicked ways. But I pray that He will have Mercy on those of us who are in opposition to those who willfully practice sin. Sodom and Gomorrah is a prime example of what our nation is becoming. Yet we continue to be a disobedient nation that will pay the ultimate price.
