There has been enough said and written about the “Son of God” movie to convince people who are willing to listen to truth. The ones who believe it is a good movie will not change their minds. People that cannot recognize the issues with the movie before they watch it will probably not detect anything wrong about it after they watch it. Nothing I can add will make a difference either way. God does not force people to follow Him, and neither can we force them to accept the truth. The dividing line has been drawn.
The most disconcerting factor in the situation is the unwillingness of people to even consider the facts and God’s word. Instead of saying, “Well I didn’t know that, please tell me more”, they go on the attack. I’m used to being called names, accused of being everything from a heretic to demoniac, but not to the extent that I received during the past few days. The synopsis of most responses minus the diatribes is, “I don’t care what you say, I don’t want to hear it, I like the movie” ala Matthew Hagee. I can’t argue with that.
It appears that everyone that has spent the past decade ignoring the warnings are incapable of hearing them now. I don’t know all the reasons they chose that path. For some it was bad soteriology and for others bad eschatology. Some professing Christians have become so enamored by the world system that they have no taste for things spiritual. The Apostle Paul wrote concerning endtimes professing Christians:
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
Finally, there is this word from David Wilkerson.
I keep this foremost in my mind and before my eyes, because every minister of the gospel one day has to face it when he stands before the Lord. He will say, “Son of man, I made thee a watchman. You were to hear the words of My mouth and give them warnings from Me. You were to tell the wicked, ‘Thou shalt surely die.’ And you gave them no warning nor spoke to warn the wicked to turn from their wicked ways to save their lives. These same wicked men died in their sins, but their blood I’ll require at your hands.”

My first reaction to the movie was,”Oh brother! Most cults believe Jesus was the “Son of God.” So this movie is just going to give people more to feed into that opinion! This movie will help to unite the cults with the deluded and deceived who call themselves Christians. ” The Jehovah’s Witnesses came to my door yesterday and so as not to waste a whole lot of time, I told them from the start,” we will not be able to come to an agreement because I am Born Again and I know that Jesus is God and you two will not say that because you do not believe it!” They began to argue that point with me at the door. I said again to them, “it is just a simple question needing a yes or no answer, do you believe Jesus is God? ” They began to speak of Jesus as the “Son of God.” They would not even be honest and tell me “No.” But the truth is they don’t believe Jesus is God. Nor does a Mormon and many others would agree with them that Jesus was the Son of God, but not God!
What fellowship can I have with someone who believes Jesus is just the Son of God. From the start this movie is a compromise and deceiving. Look at the masses that are thrilled over the newly formed relationship with the Pope and Kenneth Copeland. I like M’kayla’s web’s intro scripture. “Be careful that they light that you have is not darkness.” Luke 11:35 The problem is that people do not really love Jesus. Jesus said,” if you love me you will love my Word.” He also said, “if you love my word you will keep my Word.” They don’t even “KNOW ” His Word! How can two walk together unless they agree? They can’t! This is one reason why so many are on the Broad Road that leads to destruction, even though they claim to be Christians! It is really scarey to watch this Falling Away! The part that is scarry is that they seem to have made up their minds. Their thinking is that they are fine with the amount of knowledge they have and God is Love ;so WE need to quit being so divisive and learn what real Love is.” Believers Beware!
Yes, the church is in apostasy. They are lovers of the world more than lovers of God.
