Think about it. Jesus? The miracle of the loaves and fishes. The One? The miracle of jobs “created or saved.” Jesus? Water into wine. The One? Money from thin air. Jesus? Capable of being everywhere all at once. The One? Ditto. And of course, people have been known to pray to both.
In fairness, to a left-wing atheist, I’d imagine this is a toughie.
Despite all the compromises, it has finally been possible to ensure something so fundamental, as the right of every American not to be financially shipwrecked when their health fails them. Add to that the biggest ever financial support package in America’s history, a major disarmament agreement and the quickest-ever re-establishment of American reputation.
On the other hand, we have Jesus’ miracles that everyone still remembers, but which only benefitted a few. At the same time, we have the wonderful parables about his life and deeds that we know from the New Testament, but which have been interpreted so differently over the past 2000 years that it is impossible to give an unequivocal result of his work.
Obama is, of course, greater than Jesus – if we have to play that absurd Christmas game. But it is probably more meaningful to insist that with today’s domestic triumph, that he has already assured himself a place in the history books – a space he has good chances of expanding considerably in coming years.

Not the first time this comparison’s been made, needless to say. Exit question one: Are they for real or is this just the, er, Danish sense of humor at work? He certainly is no where the caliper as Jesus.
He’s definetely of Biblical proportions…As a matter of fact he has several verses of Revelations devoted to him…”And I saw a beast that rose from the sea, and the beast resembled a leapord, with the mouth of a lion and the feet of a bear. And on his head were written great blasphemies against God” I have watched a video of Obama just going off on verses of the bible asking after each one…”IS THAT WHAT WE WANT????” He put up a Christmas tree in the white house and adorned it with ornaments with the images of the biggest mass murderer in history, Mao!!! Another ornament bears the image of a transexual and yet another, his own face on mt. Rushmore…He is a mix of black and white and christian and muslim and speaks of peace while he wages war…The beast will rule for 42 months..June-July 2012…It will be then that the beast reveals who he really is, for at that point in time he WILL be the true antichrist, satan himself will have entered his physical body, but also at that time a second beast enters, the beast from the land, and he will force everyone to worship the image of the first beast…When you see this happen, take God’s advice and FLEE!!!! DO NOT TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST (whatever that might be, be wary of anything that might be construed as this..)This isn’t terrible news, it’s scary, sure, but this all must come to pass for Christs return…as a added bonus, everyone who does end up worshiping the beast or even just taking the mark, will suffer the same fate as the beast himself…yeppers, lake o’ fire…Imagine all the lefties gone forever…no wonder a thousand years of peace follows.
