The leader of Planned Parenthood in College Station, Texas left her post after watching the ultrasound of an abortion procedure. Abby Johnson told reporters that Planned Parenthood changed it’s business model from one that pushed prevention, to one that focused on abortion.
She recently joined the Pro-Life organization in her community.

Planned Parenthood has been a part of Abby Johnson’s life for the past eight years; that is until last month, when Abby resigned. Johnson said she realized she wanted to leave, after watching an ultrasound of an abortion procedure.
“I just thought I can’t do this anymore, and it was just like a flash that hit me and I thought that’s it,” said Jonhson.
She handed in her resignation October 6. Johnson worked as the Bryan Planned Parenthood Director for two years.
According to Johnson, the non-profit was struggling under the weight of a tough economy, and changing it’s business model from one that pushed prevention, to one that focused on abortion.
“It seemed like maybe that’s not what a lot of people were believing any more because that’s not where the money was. The money wasn’t in family planning, the money wasn’t in prevention, the money was in abortion and so I had a problem with that,” said Johnson.
Johnson said she was told to bring in more women who wanted abortions, something the Episcopalian church goer recently became convicted about.
“I feel so pure in heart (since leaving). I don’t have this guilt, I don’t have this burden on me anymore that’s how I know this conversion was a spiritual conversion.”
Johnson now supports the Coalition For Life, the pro-life group with a building down the street from Planned Parenthood. Coalition volunteers can regularly be seen praying on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood. Johnson has been meeting with the coalition’s executive director, Shawn Carney, and has prayed with volunteers outside Planned Parenthood.
A see change
This story is spreading quickly.
When anybody working in an abortion has a change of heart toward the unborn, it’s exceptional news. When the executive director of a Planned Parenthood quits her job after seeing what abortion does to a living human being, it’s an enormous learning moment.
That is sure what happened with Abby Johnson, who quit her position as head of a local Planned Parenthood chapter, and indeed, now works with pro lifers to help persuade women to make the choice of giving birth.

But what about that claim by abortion activists that nobody’s actually pro-abortion?
Also remember all that taxpayer money that’s going towards Planned Parenthood for “family planning services” but supposedly not for abortion, well what do they say now that a PP director is saying that PP is downplaying family planning and pushing abortions?
Wesley Smith believes they should be investigated.
If Johnson’s charge is true about being told to intentionally push abortion for financial reasons, Planned Parenthood cannot credibly claim to be a dispassionate family planning/women empowering organization. Rather, it has an agenda that is both ideological and financially motivated.

This is hardly news. I have been involved in the pro-life movement for years. Regularly over the years people who formerly naively participated in Planned Parenthood or in the abortion industry come to their senses and then relate the truth of what goes on. From the beginning of legalized abortions the money has ALWAYS been in abortions. There is testimony after testimony from the mid 1970s till now. There have even been abortion doctors who have come to realize what they were doing is morally wrong. So while this person’s change of heart is no small transformation, it is nothing new and Planned Parenthood has ALWAYS been lying about its true mission, which is to make money at the cost of innocent lives.

The thoughts that dance in the mind of humans, is conceived in their heart and hinges on the pivotal question that ushers in the undeserved “Death penalty” for the unborn; or the joyous excitement, anticipating the soon coming birth of a child.
The question that answers the complex motive for a person’s actions after conception is “Is the pregnancy and baby wanted or rejected by one or both parents (or families) of the child”?!!!
And if most women-with-child was loved by the child’s father,
she would smile and happily say “No abortion” why bother.
