The new law, SB200, not only prohibits gender discrimination in restroom use (men cannot be barred from ladies’ rooms and vice-versa), but also criminalizes the biblical message in the area of homosexuality for anyone outside of a church.
Christian schools, publishers, pro-family organizations, Christian businesses, etc. will all be banned from publishing or selling or even handing out tracts or printed materials that give the biblical teaching on homosexuality and fornication. The law is currently untested, and civil liberties law groups are determining the best way to challenge the law. Bob stated that he has heard from several pastors and leaders who are willing to go to jail before they will obey this new law. A press conference is going to be held next week regarding the new statute.
