The sexual revolution of the 1960’s is a gift that just keeps on giving. One little factoid that didn’t make TMZ was reported on June 12th by Medical News Today. A full 26% of New York City residents are now infected with the virus that causes genital herpes. Pro-life speaker, Pam Stenzel, gives these statistics:
* Three million teenagers contract STDs annually.
* 25 million Americans are infected with the herpes virus.
* More than 40 percent of sexually active singles are infected with human papillomavirus (HPV), commonly called genital warts.
* One in every 250 Americans has the AIDS virus.
* An estimated one in five Americans is infected with a viral STD, a figure that doesn’t include bacterial diseases like chlamydia, syphilis and gonorrhea.
Yesterday, news outlets reported on a school “pregnancy pact” where 17 girls decided to all try to get pregnant at the same time. The girls didn’t care what it took to conceive, and one girl got pregnant by a homeless man. The bewildered school principal was astounded to find the girls more upset if their pregnancy tests turned out negative than if they were positive. Planned Parenthood shills are left standing with their baskets of free contraception, utterly aghast that the girls are now openly trying for babies so they can be like Jamie Lynn Spears or some of the cool Hollywood stars with “baby bumps”. These ‘no rules’ sex advocates only hope that maybe some girls will change their minds and end up in a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic after all. The saddest victims of all are the children who will grow up fatherless and as morally rudderless as their tragic parents.
The only hope for our children and this nation is the Gospel. See the post below. A proper understanding of our sinfulness is the first step in understanding our need of a Savior. This alone is the answer to the sexual anarchy and accompanying social breakdown in our society. If the church refuses to preach that Gospel, and that’s exactly what has happened, it becomes only a further contributor to the breakdown.
sex in america is a huge problem, and its affect on the church is enormious. the last statistics i seen say that 73% of christian men view porn. wasn’t it Christ who said that if a man looked upon a women and lusted after her he had already committed adultry with her in his heart? however in america the body is no. 1 when you participate in sex outside of marrage and masterbate to porn. you are defiling God’s temple if you claim to be a christian then you must know that your body is not your own you were bought with a price so glorifie God with your body. where I’m at the cable co. is runing a special where you get cable, telephone and highspeed internet for one low price. this is exposing men and children to a flood of internet porn at high-speed that have never experienced the flood of XXX sites that are avalible with no I.d. reqiured. I urge anybody who has this service to not put the computer in any room that can be closed off, this includes studys, bedrooms,basements and home offices. and never leave childern and their friends unattended while on line. porn is a parisite looking for a host it is nothing new and if you are one of the 73% be warned your idolitary won’t go unnoticed God is a jelous God, repent for the kingdom of God is at hand! if you need help tell others your weakness,and if they turely are Chistian they will love, help and encourage you thanks Perry your brother in Christ.
