this is some scarey stuff! if the goverment starts deciding who is fit to teach by their standerds were in big trouble. let me referyou to a ruling by U.S. district court judge Mark Wolf in. Mass. that said” there is an oblgation for public schools to teach young children to accept and endorse homosexuality.his finding was that they need these teachings to be engaged and produtive citizens” By goverment standerds we all should conform to political corretness not Godly or moral standerds.the word Christian means Christ-like we are not to conform to this world, but it seems that the world wants to destory God’s values and replace them with their own wiccan-like values. Christ’s message to people who would harm these litle ones is that it would be better for them that a millstone were hung around their neck and tossed with them into the sea! thanks’ your brother in Christ Perry.

This is a completely outrageous intrusion by the State into the rights of parents to raise their children as they deem best. The Longs are in compliance with the CA Educational Code but these 3 appointed judges have arbitrarily read more into the language of the law then is actually there. There is nothing in the code stating that a “full-time private day school” cannot be located in the parents’ home. However, these judges have ruled that only traditional private schools qualify.

What I find truly scary is these judges’ assertion that only the State can decide whether a family is homeschooling for “religious” reasons (protected by the 1st Amendment) as opposed to “philosophical” reasons (which they claim are not).
